Every spring you find people flocking to garden centres – picking up seedlings, grown plants, and seeds. Compost, potting soil, tools, fertilisers.

As humans, we love to grow things. Whether in soil, in our businesses, our kitchens, craft rooms, or workshops. We are eternal creators, ready for the challenge of learning new skills and achieving great results.

It is not always a pretty picture, though. Learning is messy. We fail, we fall. We have to get up, dust ourselves off, and often try again and again. We often have to resow the seeds we were so excited about — when a cold snap hits, or we forgot to water, or maybe watered too much.

Life gets messy. Learning gets messy.

Don't give up. Try and try again. Keep on keeping on.
