You’re not lazy — you’re just waiting. And that’s the real problem.

It’s no secret The Matrix is one of Michael’s favorite movies. He’ll quote a line to perfectly describe any situation — especially this one, from a R&R (rewind and replay) episode we recorded two years ago:

“It seems like you are waiting.”

Waiting.
Waiting for what?

We build momentum, see no immediate results, and quit.
Or we plan endlessly — strategize, overthink, delay — and never act.
All because we’re waiting.

Waiting for more time.
Waiting for things to change.
Waiting for better conditions — better weather, different partners, different neighbours.

They say we regret not what we did — but what we didn’t.
The conversation we didn’t have.
The dish we didn’t try.
The trip we didn’t take.

We called this episode “Why Are You Waiting?” — but re-released it as:

Yes, proper planning prevents poor performance.
But overthinking? That’s often the reason we never start — and never achieve.

So ask yourself:
What are you waiting for?
The perfect moment doesn’t exist.

Start. Now. Even if it’s small. Even if it’s messy.

Because thinking is not doing — and doing is the only thing that moves you forward.
