That’s a bold claim, I know! But I suspect I’m not the only one frustrated by requests for help met with robotic, AI-generated replies. How often do we come across these 'beautifully' crafted emails, long-form social posts, or blogs, only to realise quickly that they’re AI-generated? Something feels slightly ‘off’. You finish reading and ask yourself: What was the answer to my question? When learning a new language, you start by pointing at things, repeating phrases until they feel natural, then expanding by learning opposites. You build complexity from the basics. Communication happens in stages. The more effectively we articulate our thoughts, ideas, and questions, the better the responses we receive. Using AI merely as a fast, glorified search engine is not unlocking its true potential. Our challenge this week: Review how you communicate. Not with AI. But with your family, colleagues, friends, the person behind the cash register, or the person filling your car. Communication will always be vital to harnessing whatever technology is available to us.
